Girls Inc. Curricula
We offer training in two nationally developed and evaluated, gender-specific curricula - Girls Inc. Preventing Adolescent Pregnancy and Girls Inc. Friendly PEERsuasion, a substance abuse prevention and leadership program.
By completing these trainings, participants become certified to teach the respective curriculum to groups of youth outside of Girls Inc. Participants can also receive continuing education credits for participation.
Customized Workshops
We also provide skill building workshops on topics such as Girls and Sexuality, Gender Equity, Body Image, How to Talk About Sex, Girls and Violence, and Developmental Needs of Girls.

Taking a Stand for Girls
Girls Inc. of Metro Denver participates in a variety of state-wide and local planning and advocacy groups in order to address the different issues that girls face and the gender-specific ways in which they are impacted - areas include as teen pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases, substance abuse, violence, and mental health issues.
